Workshop 1: Alive Medicare Gotenyama
Japan’s leading home security company operates 11 long-term care facilities for the elderly, of which two are under life contract and provides remote treatment support systems and hospital management services. Opened in early 2016, Alive Medicare Gotenyama encompasses 45 rooms in a small home care model which emphasise on providing residents with high quality care delivery using technology innovation including remote treatment support systems and hospital management services.

Workshop 2: Japan’s Top International Home Care & Rehabilitation Products Exhibition
The 44th International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition (H.C.R.) is the largest welfare related exhibition in Asia. Now H.C.R. is one of the three largest welfare related exhibitions in the world. Last year, 585 exhibitors from 36 countries & 1 territory participated to display cutting-edge welfare and rehabilitation products along with the latest information. More than 20,000 home care and rehabilitation equipment were displayed in a total area of 51,380m². We expect more than 112,000 visitors at H.C.R. 2017.

Workshop 3: Fillcare Granforest Gakugeidaigaku by Sumitomo Forestry
Fillcare Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Forestry Co., Ltd. Sumitomo Forestry provides a wide range of lifestyle services, including operation of nursing homes with special care facilities, the manufacture and sale of agricultural products, and insurance services. Fillcare Co., Ltd., provides private-pay elderly care facilities to meet the needs of Japan's "super-ageing" society. Operated under the motto of "warm nursing care in a family-like environment," the company continually strives to enhance the quality of its nursing services. Fill Care’s Granforest Gakugeidaigaku is an assisted living facility with services 64 individual rooms for older adults aged 65 and older.

Workshop A4: Orix Living Good Time Living Centre South
Orix Living Good Time Living Centre South is a high-rise integrated facility with independent seniors housing, assisted living and nursing care, located in Yokohama. This facility is part of ORIX PLATERSIA series which is a residential rental properties for senior citizens with active lives. In the case where residents come to require nursing care, they have the option of moving into GOOD TIME LIVING Center-Minami, which is situated on the lower floors of the same building, this way, the facility enables residents to continue their lives smoothly with peace of mind. Concierges stationed in the facility will understand the lifestyle of each and every resident and attend to their individual requirements. Comprehensive daily lifestyle support includes introductions to services such as home-visit nursing care and medical checkups, as well as house cleaning. Emergency call buttons and living cycle sensors that automatically detect changes in residents' regular lifestyle patterns are among the standard features, and the rooms are fully equipped with functions to provide safe support for living. The most notable characteristic is the use of ICT devices and cutting-edge robotic devices for nursing care developed in collaboration with manufacturers of such devices. This care will utilise devices such as monitoring sensors Neos + Care in all their units to prevent the residents from falling as well as special nursing care lifts, Swing Lift CoCoRo to enable the residents to easily access the bathroom from their beds. This will allow them to meet the needs of a wide variety of residents, from active seniors to those requiring extensive nursing care.

Workshop A5: Silverwood - Ginmokusei Kamagaya Tomioka
Newly open in April 2017, Ginmokusei Kamagaya Tomioka is a private assisted-living facility that provides high quality care of care for its residents in a family/home-like environment. There are 49 single rooms and 2 double rooms. Focusing on the traditional way of living, the nursing home provides residents a sense of belongingness and familiarity, allowing them to call it home. At any point of time, caregivers can be seen providing 24 hours of care for the residents and they co-exist with the residents as a family. The team thinks about what kind of activities can make the elderly happy, what activities can they still do and feel a sense of accomplishment. The care home is a part of a chain founded by entrepreneur Tadamichi Shimogawara in 2011. There are 12 Silverwood outlets at present, each with between 30 and 50 residents.
