Robotic pet companions sold in mainstream electronic stores in Tokyo

Robots won't replace care staff, but they may be able provide some entertainment, comfort, companionship and amusement to elderly in the hours of the day that the care staff are not able to be by their side. And its interesting to know that we can now purchase them at mainstream stores. It's all in Japanese though. Arigato-Gozaimasu
